Do I need a referral to Urology Specialist Care?
As Urology Specialist Care is a specialist clinic, we require a referral from your GP or another specialist. This will allow you to obtain your Medicare rebate. It also provides important background on your health ahead of your consultation.
What are the parking and transport options for the rooms?

Main Consulting Rooms - Epworth Freemasons Specialist Suites:
Parking: Onsite parking is available, as well as metered and some un-metered street parking in surrounding streets.
Train: The closest station is Jolimont or Parliament.
Tram: Tram 48 and 75 stop nearby at Stop 11 on Wellington Parade.
Knox Private Hospital Consulting Suites:
Parking: Onsite parking is available 24 hours a day.
Bus: Route 901, Route 738 and Route 745. For further information visit www.ptv.vic.gov.au
Blackburn Specialist Centre:
Parking: Onsite parking is available.
Boronia Specialist Clinic:
Parking: Onsite parking is available.
Do I need to pay for my consultation at the time of my appointment?
We kindly ask that payment is made on the day of your appointment. Our preferred payment method is Eftpos and Credit Card.
Will my health insurance cover my surgery/procedure?
Our team will liaise with your health insurance fund to determine your coverage, and we will provide you with detailed information about costs if surgery is recommended.
What if I don’t have private insurance?
Fairleigh is happy to see uninsured patients. If you require surgery, Fairleigh has a public appointment at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and will discuss your options with you.
